Anxiety Disorders: More Than a Case of the Nerves

Anxiety disorders are the most common type of psychiatric disorder and are more common in women. Symptoms of anxiety disorders including unrealistic or excessive worry, sleep disturbances, jitteriness, fatigue, and upset stomach vary in severity and can have a devastating impact on one's quality of life. Anxiety disorders are treatable, but frequently go undiagnosed.
