“On one manuscript margin a monk wrote a poem to his cat.
The poem was translated into English c. 1940 by the medieval scholar, Robin Flower.
The sculptress Imogen Stuart, carved the scene in timber – the cat is chasing a mouse and the monk is chasing words.
