Adult Attention Deficit Disorder

In the pursuit of learning,
every day something is acquired.
In the pursuit of Tao,
every day something is dropped.
Less and less is done
Until non-action is achieved.

~Lao Tzu

Red is the color of STOP signs.  Stop signs tell the driver to come to a full stop.  He then looks to his left and then his right before moving forward.  The problem with having a tendency to Attention Deficit Disorder is that there are no stop signs.  The sufferer has a tendency to keep going forward without  stopping to think.  It is a good technique to say "stop!" to yourself now and again to break the spell of whatever activity you have become hopelessly engaged in doing.  Video games can be the worst but are by no means the only absorbing activity that becomes like a sand trap that you can't escape.
